Wifi in planes is like wifi in coffeeshops

Posted on Sunday 25 June 2006

People will not pay extra for wifi but they will go to the places that have it more often. This is true for coffee shops and it would be true for planes. It is a market advantage to offer the service free. I write this cause I am reading that Boeing wants to offload its unprofitable in-flight broadband service.
